4.3.2 Examination. Samples selected in accordance with 4.3.1 shall be examined for
defects such as incorrect dimensions affecting interchangeability, incorrect luminescent area,
improper finish, improper marking, and faulty workmanship. Examination shall be visual,
tactile, or by measurement with standard inspection equipment (SIE).
4.3.3 Conformance tests for flasher. Samples selected in accordance with 4.3.1.3 shall be
subjected to the tests specified in table IV.
