DETAIL SPECIFICATION
RING ASSEMBLIES, ELECTRICAL CONTACT
This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and
Armaments Command, Department of the Army, and is available for use by all
Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification defines the requirements for two electrical contact ring
assemblies, referred to herein as "slip ring assemblies", for use on military ground vehicles
(see 6.1).
1.2 Classification. The slip ring assemblies covered by this specification will be of the
following classes, as specified in table I (see 6.2 and 6.5).
